One Event. One Place. One time.

Visitation

VISITATION

We suggest visitation be one and not more than two hours before the memorial service. It gives guests time to pay their respects and visit without exhausting the family.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

A Celebration of Life service focusing on the life of the loved one who has passed will be tailored to fit the personality and traditions of your family.

MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION

For each service we produce an original video featuring photos, film, and favorite music on our huge screens. We run the video on a loop before and after the service so guests can enjoy remembering moments from your loved one’s life.

LIVE MUSIC

Many families prefer live music over recordings during the memorial service. We can do either, but we work with the finest singers and musicians in Atlanta to make sure your service is unforgettably special.

EATING TOGETHER

Instead of leaving a service and driving to another place for a family meal, we will serve you immediately after the service. Your meal can be as small or large as you’d like. It can include just close family or everyone who is in attendance. Our meal service eliminates one major cause of stress experienced by grieving families.

WARM AMBIANCE

Funeral homes can feel cold and impersonal. At Memorial Events Atlanta, we make sure our venue feels warm and inviting. This is done with professional lighting, candles, and room scenting. Whether your memorial service is going to be witnessed by  10-400 people, we want to make sure people feel they are in a warm, inviting and familial space.

Do You Have Any Questions?

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN FIRST?

If death is imminent  or has just occurred, please call us at 404-312-0933. If we don’t answer, leave a message and we will call you back promptly. When we talk on the phone we will help you take the next steps needed involving the death of your family member of friend.

DO YOU RECOMMEND BURIAL OR CREMATION?

There are pros and cons about both options. When we speak, we will listen to your thoughts and then give you how things would work based on either option. The Memorial Service we do works with either way you decide.

HOW MANY DAYS AFTER DEATH SHOULD WE HOLD OUR SERVICE?

This totally revolves around the needs of the family and the availability of our auditorium. Usually a service is done within 2-5 days of your loved one’s passing. If you decide to cremate, then there is greater flexibility for your service.

WILL WE HAVE INPUT IN CREATING THE MEMORIAL SERVICE?

Absolutely! Our officiant will spend time talking to you about the deceased to insure the absolute best memorial service possible . Our services are not  “one size fits all.” We will listen to you and others  to make the service fit the  personality of your loved one.

IF WE CHOOSE BURIAL, IS THERE A PROCESSIONAL TO THE CEMETERY?

The police escorted processional is an option. There is also the option of picking a time after the memorial service where those who want to be at the graveside can simply meet family members at the cemetery. We can share pros and cons about both of these options.

HOW IS THE TYPE OF MEAL CHOSEN?

When we sit down with you to plan the service we will share with you different options and prices for different meals to be shared immediately after the service. It can be as simple as cake and coffee all the way to a full buffet.
